| TMS Florida Presence Highlighted in February |
|
March 15th, 2012 TMS provided transportation for the NBA All-Star Game, NAHB’s International Builders Show, the Progressive Miami International Boat Show, as well as the 26.2 with Donna where, combined, they successfully moved over 250,000 people throughout the Sunshine state last month. During the NBA All-Star Game, TMS secured over 130 vehicles per day in Orlando, making this event the seventh straight TMS transportation operation for the All-Star Game. Within 45 minutes post-event, the curb around the AMWAY Center was empty and all NBA invited guests were back to their hotels. The company efficiently managed their transportation services while other large events, such as the Daytona 500, significantly impacted the normal traffic patterns. Since 2005, TMS has managed transportation for the International Builders Show, six of those eight times in Orlando. This year, the company transported attendees from the Orange County Convention Center to over 30 Orlando hotels, building on their Florida resume and expanding their pool of experienced local contractors. TMS moved 45,000 attendees for the Progressive Miami International Boat Show over a five day period. The company effectively operated this show despite construction on the main route as well as the need to find alternative parking lots and routes during the Miami Heat game and the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards Show. In Jacksonville, the 26.2 with Donna marathon required TMS to transport over 10,000 runners, volunteers and spectators. The company managed three hotel shuttles as well as two Park and Ride lots.
