Privacy Policy

Transportation Management Services, Inc. (“TMS”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to the privacy of your personally identifiable information.

Collection of Information. TMS collects information about you in two ways. First, you may give us information by entering it on one of our websites or providing it to us in another way. Such information may include personally identifiable information such as name, address, phone numbers, and email address.

Second, when you use a TMS website, we may collect certain information about you and your use of the site. For example, TMS identifies the domain names and IP addresses of visitors to our website, but this is not linked to personally identifiable information. TMS also may use cookies to make our service and website more effective. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer by your web browser. A cookie allows the TMS server to recognize whether you have visited our site before and may store user preferences and other information. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being set.

Use of Information. TMS uses the information we collect to complete transactions and fulfill requests for services, as well as to deliver to you confirmations, account information, notifications, billing information, and similar data. We also use the information we collect to improve your user experience and the quality of our products and services. We may also use this information to send you special offers or promotions, information about new products and services, and other news about our transportation services. Although we hope you will find these offers and updates of interest, you may opt out of receiving them by sending an email to optout@tms.com with “optout” in the subject line. Promotional emails will also have instructions for opting out of that type of communication in the future.

Sharing information with third parties. TMS will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties outside of TMS, except when we have a good-faith belief that doing so is required by law, court order, subpoena or other legal process or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TMS, our employees, or our passengers or customers. If ownership of TMS or one of our companies were to change as a result of a merger, acquisition, sale, or other transaction, your TMS information might be transferred. If such a transfer would result in a material change in the use of your TMS information, you will be provided notice about the choices you have to decline to permit such a transfer.

Protecting information. We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information. When you purchase services through a TMS website, we use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt personal information as it is transmitted between you and TMS websites.

Reviewing and updating your information. If you want to find out what personally identifiable information TMS has about you and/or to update or change that information, you can contact us by email at sales@tms.com.

Changes to Policy. TMS may update this Policy from time to time, and so you should review this Policy periodically. If TMS makes a material change to the Policy, you will be provided with appropriate notice.
